Central Contra Costa Transit Authority

Project:County Connection Transit Maps

The Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) serves the public transit needs for Contra Costa County, one of the nine counties that make up California's San Francisco Bay Area. Though geographically dispersed, Contra Costa County is a rapidly growing urban region, and The County Connection provides a crucial link for the areas transporation needs. L+W provides maps for the agency, including system maps and schedules. L+W starts with bus and transit data in ESRI ArcMap GIS format, and then uses Adobe Illustrator for final map creation. L+W also performs GIS analysis, creates schedules and timetables for print formats, and optimizes the maps for viewing on the agency's website. L+W coordinates all work for CCCTA in updating the maps and getting the final maps delivered to the printer.
